FDPG data applications

Process description

National data usage applications are processed via the Research Data Portal for Health (FDPG) of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII). You can apply for an account for the FDPG online on the website by providing proof of your activity as a researcher. You can submit both a feasibility query specific to your research question and the corresponding project application to the FDPG.

The FDPG provides data from all MII locations.

Data applications via the FDPG are subject to compliance with the EU data protection law and require a positive vote from the Use & Access Committees of the respective locations in order for the data to be released.
The type of clinical research data is based on the modules of the MII core data set and is limited to these. The FDPG strives to continuously integrate additional modules and locations with a data integration centre into the existing system.

The FDPG project register contains all ongoing and completed research projects that have been submitted as part of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII).
