Research into AI in clinical settings and the number of publications are growing exponentially. But the rise of clinical implementation is still to come. There is no magic AI for implementation. It still requires a lot of work, skills and knowledge from different disciplines such as data science, medicine, IT, IT procurement and law. Finally, it requires change management to integrate new methods into established clinical workflows, as well as training and education for all involved. The presentation will give an overview of how these issues are being addressed in the INTERREG Baltic Sea Region project "Clinical AI-based diagnostics (CAIDX)".
